5. Event Requirements & Client Responsibilities
To ensure a safe and successful experience, the Client agrees to provide a suitable venue
space with adequate table surface, lighting, and access to electricity if required. The
work area must be clear of unnecessary clutter and located away from water sources or
conditions that may increase the risk of slips, trips, or spills. Sweet Spot Candle Bar will
take reasonable care to protect the venue by using protective coverings and equipment
where appropriate and by following safe candle making practices. While we do our best
to minimize mess, small drips or light spills of wax, fragrance oil, and related materials
can be a normal part of the candle making process.
• The Client is responsible for any additional coverings or protections they would like for
floors, furniture, and surfaces (for example, tablecloths or floor coverings) and
understands that Sweet Spot Candle Bar cannot guarantee that no minor marks, drips,
or cleanup will be required after the event.
• The Client will ensure all participants are 15 years of age or older. Guests between the
ages of 15 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who assumes full
responsibility for their participation and safety throughout the event or workshop.
• The Client will provide accurate guest count information at the time of booking. Final
counts are due 2weeks before the event. Significant increases in guest count may result
in additional fees.
• The Client will ensure our team has safe and timely access to the venue for setup and
breakdown. Inform Sweet Spot Candle Bar of any venue restrictions, parking limitations,
or special requirements prior to the event
